Congratulations on your new Selther™ sleep system!. In Selther™, we pride ourselves in providing our customers with products of the highest quality.

Selther™ Limited Warranty

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in your Selther™ mattress and/or foundation. Replacement of one piece does not automatically constitute the replacement of the other one. This Limited Warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is only valid when presented with the Proof of Purchase. The only document that constitutes Proof of Purchase is the corresponding invoice issued to the original purchaser and only when the original purchaser evidence it.

The warranty coverage runs from the original date of purchase. Repair or replacement of the mattress or foundation does not extend its Limited Warranty or begin a new Limited Warranty period.

If your Selther™ product fails due to a manufacturing defect, Selther will repair or replace the product. Selther™ reserves the right to substitute comparable models and cannot guarantee that the replacement will match the existing piece.

Our sleep systems offer the following warranties:

Claims covered under the warranty:

Mattress

  • Loose or broken coils
  • Coils or wires that protrude or rip through the fabric
  • Body indentations of 1 1/2" or greater
  • Sagging

    • Foundation

  • Splits in the wood frame
  • Bent, loose or defective beams and/or center support rail
  • Loose or broken module wire
  • Compression of modules
  • Unstapling of modules
  • Sagging

    • This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal body impressions
  • Firmness preference of the product
  • Cover (fabric)
  • Merchandise sold "as-is", "distressed" or "floor model"
  • If the mattress and/ or foundation is subjected to obvious abuse or improper care/maintenance such as but not limited to:
  • Stains or soils
  • Burns
  • Bent border wires
  • Inadequate support from weak box springs or improper frame (for Queen and King size support refer to the illustration below)
  • If were used for a different use than the one it was manufactured for, which is for sleeping and resting purposes.
  • If any label of the product has been detached, including the white cloth label or the mattress satin trade labels.

    • In order to apply for your warranty:

    You must be the original purchaser and have purchased the sleep system from Selther™ or its authorized dealers.

      Provide Proof of Purchase (as defined above)
      Provide product code information in order to validate this warranty. Satin trade labels and white law labels must also be intact to identify the beliing and validate this warranty.

    EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES EXPRESSLY INDICATED WITHIN THIS DOCUMENT, SELTHER™ HEREBY RELINQUISHES TO ANY OTHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING IMPLIED COMMERCIAL WARRANTIES, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SELTHER™ SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGED OR LOSS OF PRODUCT CAUSED DUE TO ACTS OF GOD OR FORCE MAJEURE OR ANY OTHER UNCONTROLLABLE FOREIGN EVENT. SELTHER™ DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PRODUCT WILL MEET YOUR PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS. YOU ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE SELECTION OF THE PRODUCT TO ACHIEVE ITS INTENDED RESULTS.

    IN THE EVENT THAT A COMPETENT COURT DETERMINES THAT SELTHER™ WOULD BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OR WOULD BE OBLIGED TO INDEMNIFY YOU IN CONNECTION WITH ANY MATTER RELATED TO THIS PRODUCT, IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT ITS MAXIMUM RESPONSIBILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT DESCRIBED IN THE CORRESPONDING INVOICE. IN NO EVENT WILL SELTHER™OR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES OR SUBSIDIARIES WILL BE LIABLE TO YOU OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, EXPENSES, LOST PROFITS, LOST SAVINGS OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE SUCH PRODUCTS, EVEN IF IDZ HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY OTHER PARTY.

    Your rights under State Law:

    Some states do not allow the exclusion of the limitation of incidental or consequential damages. The warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights which vary from state-to-state. The duration of any applicable implied warranties shall not exceed in duration the term of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

    Care Instructions to preserve warranty rights

    The DO'S for your mattress

  • Rotate your mattress regularly. This will help equalize the compaction of upholstery materials. The materials used in this mattress are designed to conform your body, and therefore body impressions are not considered a structural defect.
  • Use a firm, supportive foundation. We recommend a new matching Selther™ foundation. An old unit may not provide sufficient support and it may appear that your mattress is sagging when the problem may be due to a non-supportive foundation.
  • Use a quilted protector pad on your mattress at all time to avoid stains.
  • Spoilage can negate the warranty.
  • When ever moving your mattress, carton it and carry it on its side.

  • Do not remove the white cloth label or the mattress satin trade labels. These labels serve as a means of identification to establish your warranty rights.
  • Do not bend or fold, stand or jump on product as damage can occur.
  • Do not use dry cleaning fluid on your mattress; it will damage some of the materials.
  • Do not smoke in bed or place product near open flame. This mattress is manufactured, as required by law, to resist ignition from lighted cigarettes, but not open flame.
  • Do not put a board between your box spring or solid wood foundation and your mattress.

    • Selther™ Mattress Care Instructions

    Body impressions are a normal characteristic of premium beliing and indicate that the comfort level is conforming to your body. These are not considered a manufacturing defect. To help equalize these impressions, please rotate your mattress as a part of the maintenance of the product.
